Frizzle's Platform
Parents and students worked together to decide on these ideas.
Miss Frizzle is the coolest teacher, and she will be the coolest President. She knows lots of things, and Presidents need to know a lot of things about the U.S.A. She knows more than Arthur, because he just plays with his friends while Miss Frizzle is working. She would make sure everyone is safe and o.k. She could tell teachers all over the U.S.A. to take their students on field trips so kids could learn things. If you vote for Miss Frizzle, school will be awesome and your field trips will be fun. Miss Frizzle and her bus could go around the world and educate kids. Miss Frizzle is very honest, and she would share money with the poor and use the Magic School Bus to deliver it.
If she was President she would make lots of speeches about being healthy, loving one another as friends, being kind to others, and she would visit nursing homes and hospitals for children, and teach people about science. Then people would be smarter. They would not make as many mistakes. They might discover new medicines, make healthier foods, and they could even improve space travel. Liz could be her Secretary of State because she can work the Magic School Bus to help the country.
If we had a problem, the Frizz would know what to do. She is great at figuring things out. She has creative ideas and is good at solving problems. Making you think is one of her strong points, and she allows you to discover things on your own. She would be a good leader, but also know how to help each person in the United States think and be the best that they can be.
Every school bus will be a Magic School Bus.
This will open everyone’s minds to the wonders of the world.
There will not be so much junk food.
She will allow children to bring pets to school.
She will try to have everybody be friends instead of fighting.

What would she do for schools?
Miss Frizzle will use the Magic School Bus and tell teachers to take kids on cool educational field trips. She will pay teachers more money and buy more books and computers. She will help everyone be smarter, because she knows so much about teaching. She will pay teachers more money. She will help everyone know that it is o.k. to make mistakes. You learn and take by taking chances.
Environment
What would she do to help our environment?
Miss Frizzle will be more strict about littering laws. She has been a teacher and knows about being strict. She will enforce, “Don’t mess with Texas” and turn littered areas into parks. She will lay out food for animals and plant more trees. She will stop pollution, because she knows a lot about science. She will make a special machine to help keep the air clean. She will have children use both sides of the paper to help save trees. She will make more solar powered cars. Her decisions will be based on science not on politics.
The World
What are her ideas for foreign policy?
She has a lot of knowledge on how things work and people seem to like her and her ideas. She would travel in the Magic School Bus and meet the world leaders to discuss the difference between right and wrong. She cares about problems. She will help everyone be free and use their mind and words to avoid fighting.
