In Hawaii

Because the volcano erupts.

A baseball bat is made of metal.

Metal makes buildings.

Some buildings are high in the air.

Air is what we breathe.

Breathing helps us live.

Living is what we do in our world.

Our world is on a map.

On the map we see land.

On some of that land there are baseball fields.

On the baseball fields there are baseball bats.

I am thankful for my friends, because they play and care for me.  I’m thankful for our country and our state, because our President makes our laws and I promise to never break the law.  I’m very thankful for community and promise to keep it clean.

I’m very very thankful for food and water, because I like to eat and drink.  I’m thankful for my school so I can learn.  I’m most thankful for my family, because I love them!
