I'm thankful for snow days. Snow days are fun. Some snow days have lots of snow.
I'm thankful for hospitals. Hospitals take care of you. Hospitals are big. Hospitals help you get better. My little brother is in the hospital.

One day Emma was writing her letter to Santa. There was only one thing Emma wanted. It was a real horse. After she put the mail in the mailbox she watched TV.
The next day was Christmas eve. Emma couldn't wait much longer. While Emma was waiting, she made a big snowman.
Now it was Christmas night. Did Emma get her wish? Yes, she did. Santa tied up the horse outside. There was a note. The note said:

To Emma,
This horse will be your for the rest of your life. Her name is Sparkles.
From Santa

Santa Claus hoped Emma would like the name Sparkles. He also gave her some other cool presents. Her brother got rollerblades, model cars, and new slippers with stars.
Now it was Christmas morning. Emma was so glad she got her wish. She wanted to bring in the horse. Her mom wouldn't let her. After breakfast Emma rushed upstairs to get dressed so she could ride her horse.
"Wait," said her mom.
"How can you ride with no saddle?"
"I'll ride bareback," said Emma
