So far Flat Stanley has traversed the U.S. and been to Guam, Toronto, Canada, Amsterdam, Holland, Spangdahlem AFB, Germany and Salzburg, Austria.

A large Flat Stanley visited Laura Bush at the White House.  Read below about all his adventures.

Flat Anna recently visited Chief Master Sergeant, Dan Cooler at Osan AFB in Korea.  She got to see President and Mrs. Bush speak.  Sergeant Cooler wrote the class this letter:

Flat Anna came to visit me by United States Postal Service mail around 9 February.  I took her to work with me a few days the following week.  I work at the 303rd Intelligence Squadron.  Our nickname is Skivvy 9.  Our job is to provide information to commanders in Korea, Hawaii, and Washington, DC to help defend South Korea from any enemies.  We use the U-2 airplane to gather information.  The airmen and non-commissioned officers (NCOs) at the 303rd Intelligence Squadron review the information we get from the U-2 and write reports that are given to our commanders for them to decide what actions the United States and South Korean militaries should take.  It’s a fun job.

Flat Anna was going to leave the next week, but I found out that President Bush was going to visit Osan Air Base on his way to visit China.  So, Flat Anna stayed another week.  I took Flat Anna to see the President speak.  It was really exciting to see President Bush, First Lady Laura Bush, and Secretary of State Collin Powell.

Now it’s time for Flat Anna to travel back to the United States.  I noticed that she didn’t have a passport.  To travel between countries, you must have a passport.  So that she doesn’t have any problems getting back into the United States, I made her a passport and included it in her package. (People can’t really just make them; you have to get one issued to you by the government, but I thought it would be nice for Flat Anna to have one.)
